Joe has been a member of the ARC team since 2008. He focuses on building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control, fire/safety, and energy management), process measurement technologies (flow, level, pressure, and temperature), wireless field devices, and plant asset management. Joe's recent research activities include "Automation Expenditures in the Process Industries Worldwide Outlook", "Coriolis Flowmeter Worldwide Outlook", and "HVAC Control Systems Worldwide Outlook".
Joe holds a B.S. in Economics from Northeastern University. His course selection focused on macroeconomic policy and mathematics for economics, including econometrics, advanced mathematics for economics, macroeconomic theory, and capital management. During this time, he established himself as a presence in the Northeastern community through his involvement in extracurricular activities. In 2007, Joe refined his survey and analysis skills conducting real-time analysis of economic conditions, devising solutions, and presenting team results to a panel of Economists as a member of Northeastern's Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's "Fed Challenge" team.
