Presenting the Sixteenth Annual ARC World Industry Forum

Transforming Industry through New Processes and Technologies

February 6-9, 2012 - Orlando, Florida

Asset Information Management:  Reduce Risk, Lower Costs, Enable Collaboration

Research shows that asset information management (AIM) offers significant benefits to asset-intensive organizations.  Good asset information improves asset performance and the productivity of everyone in asset management.  It also helps organizations reduce risk.

ARC's Asset Information Management ModelTo reap these benefits, organizations need high-quality asset information that is usable by every stakeholder.  Achieving these goals requires strategies for content management to ensure information completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and work environments that align information with user needs and clarify meaning and relevance.

Technology is fundamental to AIM and the right solutions depend upon a variety of factors.  Use case is a key consideration that divides solutions into two major categories:  AIM for Engineering and AIM for Operations.

The costs of poor AIM are staggering and the time to act is now.  ARC’s Asset Information Management program is the ideal place for you to get the information you need to develop a winning strategy and identify the best solutions.  You will learn what others are doing, how they are doing it, and the benefits they are achieving. You will also have a chance to discuss your challenges with peers and leading AIM solution providers.

This program is unique.  Other conferences focus on specific project and asset management issues, but ARC’s AIM program is the only event that recognizes the importance of a solid asset information foundation.  Stakeholders in every asset lifecycle stage and activity will benefit by learning more about AIM and how it can help them do their jobs better.

Simply put, this program is a must attend event for every owner/operator and AIM solution provider.  You will:

  • Discover what leading companies are doing to overcome their asset information challenges, whether they are cultural, organizational, or technological
  • Learn more about the critical role of asset information and what you can do to improve your own situation
  • See what industry, standards, and ad-hoc groups are doing to enable better asset information management
  • Get valuable ARC research that shows you what works and what doesn’t
  • Get an update on new technologies and solution provider roadmaps
  • Share challenges, ideas, and strategies with peers and gain from their experience with similar issues
  • Network with top industry executives

Join ARC at our Orlando Forum to learn what you can do to address your organization’s challenges.  Encourage others to attend to ensure that they understand and support your AIM improvement strategies.
